For the lesson today, we learned how to use the tangent ratio to calculate lengths. We drew a tree, and a man, and had to find out the height of the tree. By finding out the height of the man, the distance from the man to the tree, and the theta, we could calculate the height of the tree.
Monday sept 26
We went over a few questions from section 2.1, and then we went through section 2.2 which was using the tangent ratio to find the opposite or adjacent sides using the tangent ratio.
